Chemetall Foote Corporation has been one of the leading companies in lithium-powered batteries. It is considered to be the sole lithium producing mine in the whole of the United States. The company was in operation since 1876 and it was founded by Dr. A. E. Foote. Initially, it was called as the Foote Mineral Company. The company is located at the Silver Peaks Nevada, just two hundred eleven miles north of Las Vegas.

Greece’s latest downgrade gets a ton of press, but it reminds me of all the fuss that was made when GM/GMAC went below investment-grade – You ain’t seen nothin’ yet, was my reaction then and now. Like GM, Greece is a storied, even fabled entity to which we owe western democracy. I used to call GM the country of GM because it was so Byzantine – 35 layers of management at its bloated peak!

Drilling For Oil Vs Drilling For Natural Gas

Both drilling for oil and drilling for natural gas will prove to provide useful in supplying energy. As more problems develop overseas, there has been a push to use our domestic resources to reduce our dependency on foreign oil. It is estimated that the OCS (outer continental shelf) contains substantial resources of both crude oil and natural gas. With the recent oil spill in the Gulf, there is more of a push to limit offshore drilling. There are currently areas of the OCS are subject to drilling restrictions.
